Ms. Velez is an Investment strategist with a decade of successful experience in equities, asset management, and private banking at Lloyd’s, Bancolombia, and Sun Valley Investments. She has spearheaded the expansion of Sun Valley’s portfolio of precious metals investments which led to the foundation of NG Gold and Green Valley. She has an MBA from Cass Business School in London and a degree in Management Engineering.
Maria Del Pilar Vera
Agronomist Engineer
Agronomist engineer with knowledge in agrobusiness, crop production and research. She has extensive knowledge of the legal framework for cannabis cultivation and production in Colombia. Ms. Vera has been involved in Cannabis research conducted by the National University of Colombia. In addition, she has experience in the production of Tahití Lime crops and large-scale production of potted flowers in the United States.
Camilo Rincón
Advisor
Agronomist engineer and master degree in agricultural sciences, Camilo has been involved in research conducted by the National University of Colombia on evaluation of the bactericide and pesticide effect of cannabis extracts in plant production, as well as research on cannabis sativa diseases. Mr. Rincon has advised companies on the conservation, management and production of asexual and sexual seeds of Cannabis sativa, according to Colombian regulation. He teaches at CCI’s “Guide for the cultivation of medicinal Cannabis in Colombia and its entrepreneurship” diplomat.
Jaime López

Investment banker with over 20 years of experience in industry and finance. Mechanical Engineer and MBA, Mr. Lopez is co-founder and former director of more than 15 Colombian companies and advised on the structuring of projects for: Gran Colombia Gold, Medoro Resources, Providencia Gold, and Tolima Gold. Mr Lopez has also structured a number of M&A transactions in manufacturing and services sectors and has performed a broad spectrum of valuations for leading international investment funds, private equity firms and high net worth individuals. Mr. Lopez has also been a board member of numerous privately held companies in Colombia and was awarded Executive of the Year, chapter Antioquia, 1988.
Daniel Henao

Former VP Finance of multiple publicly traded Canadian mining companies. Mr. Henao currently Co-founder and board member of several mining, agricultural and real estate projects.
Vikram Sodhi

Private equity entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience implementing buy out, turnaround, and growth investment strategies in the fin-tech, precious metals, and commercial real estate sectors. Founded / co-founded several private equity funds in the US, Latin America, and India which have collectively invested over US$2 billion in precious metals and real estate transactions. Formerly an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Nuveen Investments, Mr. Sodhi is currently the Managing Partner of Sun Valley Investments and Executive Chairman of Nueva Granada Gold, The Colombian Mint and Providencia Gold Corp. Mr. Sodhi is a graduate of Yale University where he conducted Neuroscience research at the Yale Child Study Centre and received a full scholarship.
